A Wildflower Wedding at Lotus House

I got to kick off the 2023 wedding year with the most perfect spring wedding. It was colorful, floral, creative, and just all around stunning. Brooke, from Weddings by Brooke, came to me for Taylor and William’s wedding with a vision for a colorful wildflower theme. She wanted bright colors, delicate florals, and a creative vibe for the tablescape and reception decor. Talk about a dream come true!

The Details

Brooke had the vision to use glass vases as the focal point for the seating chart. Modern Vintage Rentals hooked us up with the coolest vases to write the names of the guests on. Sara Lunn Florals then came in for the icing on the cake with the most stunning, eclectic selections of florals to make this seating chart a real show stopper.

If you’re doing assigned seating at your wedding, I always recommend a seating chart installation. It creates a beautiful focal piece to greet your guests to the reception and creates a flow for your venue space. I also like to use it as a way to tell your love story - it’s a great opportunity to incorporate things you and your partner love without having to use a full on theme for the entire wedding. You can use your favorite travel locations as titles for your tables, write the names of your guests on coasters from meaningful bars and restaurants, put each table on your favorite vinyl records. It’s unique, personal, and just really cool, ya know?

To coordinate with the seating chart, I did pressed flowers on the place cards. Each person had a unique card with pressed flowers hand picked and attached by yours truly with calligraphy to bring it all together. Colored glass and bud vases filled with wildflowers decorated the table and adding a one of a kind card to each place setting made this tablescape straight out of a magazine.

Taylor and William’s wedding was the perfect example of what happens when you hire vendors that are experienced in their field and you give them the freedom to do their and trust them to execute it. I am so lucky to be able to work with the best in Las Vegas to create beautiful, unique, amazing spaces for such important days.
